I couldn’t bring myself to speak. Sobs took over my body and I have never felt the need to cling to someone more than I did right now. He caressed my hair and tried to calm me down. I knew when he came back things would be different. I knew things wouldn’t go back to being normal. I would have two weeks.
“Please wait for me,” He pulled me back enough to look me in the eye. “I want to come home to you and only you.”
Only you…
I closed the gap and kissed him. I kissed him with everything I had and I knew I would do this. Three months wouldn’t be that long, right?
“I love you Bella Swan.”
And that would be the first and last time I would hear him say that for the next three months.
